Repairs to a broken water main on Kili Drive in Makaha Valley were completed early this morning, the Board of Water Supply said.

The water main break occurred early yesterday and unleashed a torrent of water that damaged a townhouse building and at least two cars.

The completion of repairs was delayed when a small leak on the main appeared as it was being refilled late last night, said Tracy Burgo, BWS spokeswoman, in an e-mailed statement.

Burgo said BWS crews were off the road at about 3 a.m. today and final repaving was completed by 9.
