ST. LOUIS — St. Louis Rams quarterback Marc Bulger left after taking a blow to the head on a sack early in the first quarter against Chicago on Sunday. At halftime, the Rams said Bulger would not return.

He was replaced by backup Trent Green for the Rams' second offensive series.

Bulger was hurt when the Bears' Adewale Ogunleye came in untouched for an 8-yard loss to end the first possession. The Rams said Bulger, 2-for-2 for 11 yards, would be evaluated.

Bulger sat on the bench, surrounded by medical personnel, as Ogunleye sacked Green to help stuff the Rams' second series.
