NFL: Giants RB Jacobs inactive against Arizona

GLENDALE, Ariz. — New York Giants starting running back Brandon Jacobs was among players inactive for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Jacobs injured a knee in last week's 30-10 victory over Baltimore, but went through a limited practice on Thursday and a full practice on Friday. He had been listed as questionable. Derrick Ward replaced Jacobs in the starting lineup.
The Giants also were without cornerback Sam Madison, who was not injured but was listed as inactive.
Arizona linebacker Clark Haggans was out with a foot injury. Tight end Leonard Pope, listed as the starter for the Cardinals, was instead inactive even though he was listed on the injured list all week. Stephen Spach started at tight end for Arizona.
