A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle this morning near the intersection of Dillingham Boulevard and Kohou Street.

Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city's Emergency Services Department, described the pedestrian as a woman in her 40s. She was taken to a hospital in serious condition, he said.

The collision was reported just after 6:35 this morning.
