The Honolulu Medical Examiner's office today determined a man whose body was found Friday at a Ko Olina townhouse committed suicide.
Cause was listed as "asphyxia due to hanging" and manner of death as suicide.
The bodies of a 40-year-old man and his wife, 36, were discovered at about 5 p.m. Friday at their townhouse on Olani Street. The woman's decomposed body was found inside the house while the man was found hanging in the home's enclosed garage.
The ME deferred on cause and manner on the woman, who appears to have died several days before her husband. The ME declined today to release names of the couple.
Police responded to the home after the man's co-workers went to his residence to check on him because he had not reported to work for several days.
