Sculpture from Korea dedicated at Pawa'a park

A sculpture from Korea was dedicated yesterday at Pawaa Neighborhood Park.

The sculpture honors the fifth anniversary of Honolulu's sister-city relationship with Incheon, South Korea.

The sculpture is called "Become a Star," and has stainless steel columns depicting the sea and a stone element depicting the moon.

It was created by sculptor Lee Moon-Young.

"We're very proud that our relationship with Incheon is one of the strongest and most active in our sister-city program," Mayor Mufi Hannemann said yesterday, in a news release. Hannemann visited Incheon in 2006 and 2007.
