UNIVERSITY OF HAWAI'I FOUNDATION
The University of Hawai'i Foundation and the University of Hawai'i Alumni Association have hired JANET YOSHIDA BULLARD as associate vice president of alumni relations.
Most recently, she was senior director of marketing and promotions for Hawaiian Airlines.
EASTER SEALS HAWAI'I
Kathyrn Harper has been appointed director of development for Easter Seals Hawai'i, responsible for managing a team of development specialists while overseeing charitable and planned giving activities, event fundraisers, grant writing, community outreach strategies, marketing, collateral development and public relations.
BANK OF HAWAII
Kamani Kuala'au has been promoted to vice president at Bank of Hawaii's Institutional Client Services. He continues his duties as senior trust officer, which include developing new business and administering the bank's institutional investment client relationships. Before joining Bank of Hawaii in 2003 as a securities analyst, he worked as an analyst at Public Financial Management in Harrisburg, Pa.
Chad Shimonishi has been promoted from assistant vice president to vice president and senior portfolio management officer of the Corporate Hawaii Commercial Banking Center. In addition to his duties as a portfolio manager, Shimonishi will be responsible for underwriting credit transactions and building long-term client relationships.
RIM ARCHITECTS
RIM Architects has hired John Vann as senior project coordinator. Vann previously worked for Perkowitz Ruth Architects in California as project manager.
ASSOCIATION OF CERTIFIED FRAUD EXAMINERS
The Hawaii Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners recently elected its new board of directors:
Jeffrey Norton, president; Margie Sasaki, vice president/secretary; Natalie Iwasa, treasurer; Neva Keras and Trinh Wilbur, directors.
