Aina Haina bank employee arrested in theft probe

Police today arrested an Aina Haina area bank employee for investigation of theft,
The 19-year-old Kane'ohe man was arrested for second-degree theft at noon at the West Hind Drive bank. The employee allegedly stole $1,000 from the bank at 9:17 a.m. on Monday and put the money into his personal account.
The suspect was booked and released pending further investigation.
