NFL: Jacksonville's Walker sidelined for Sunday
The Associated Press
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars will be without wide receiver Mike Walker for Sunday's game at Denver.
Walker, who has 12 catches for 161 yards, injured his knee against Pittsburgh last Sunday and was listed as out.
"We're going to get him rested up and have him coming out of the bye week," coach Jack Del Rio said Friday. "He has been a big help both receiving and on special teams."
The Jaguars have their bye next week.
The Jaguars also listed safety Reggie Nelson (knee) and center Brad Meester (biceps) as out. Nelson will be missing his third straight week after bruising a bone when he collided with teammate Brian Williams during a game against Indianapolis.
Defensive tackle Rob Meier (knee) and guard Chris Naeole (knee) are doubtful. Cornerback Rashean Mathis (shin), kick returner Brian Witherspoon (thigh), cornerback Drayton Florence (groin) and linebacker Clint Ingram (thigh) all are probable.
