STAGED ON THE DARK SIDE
"Ultio Venia," a dark-night production at The Actors' Group, is a Halloween-season offering that's truly a walk on the dark side.
It's based on a story by Mark Ganialongo and Jeff Katts titled "The Demonic Revenge," about a soon-to-be married couple, an exorcism and battles between good and evil. It's an offshoot of Katts' series of films "Soul Saviour Chronicles." "Ultio" is written and directed by Eric Nemoto; it's for mature audiences.
Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28-Nov. 1 at the Mendonca Building, 1116 Smith St., second floor. Tickets are $10. 722-6941.
In Latin, "ultio" means revenge; "venia" means grace.
