JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville Jaguars offensive tackle Richard Collier, who was severely wounded in an attack in September, has been released from a Jacksonville hospital.
Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said Monday that Collier had been released. Officials say Collier will continue his recovery at an undisclosed location because the person who shot him is still at large.
Collier sustained 14 gunshot wounds and his left leg was amputated. He is paralyzed from the waist down.
