Free job preparedness workshops offered

The Mutual Assistance Associations Center is offering free job preparedness workshops each Monday through Nov. 24 on the second floor of the Palolo Valley District Park gymnasium, at 2007 Palolo Ave.
The workshops are designed to help people, especially the underserved of Palolo Valley, prepare for jobs.
The two-hour workshops will cover topics such as dress codes, etiquette, resume and job application preparation, expectations of employers, and interview practice.
Richard Wells, a Palolo Valley resident, small-businessman and president of MAAC, will conduct the workshops.
