Man sought in robbery of UH security guard
Police were looking for a man in his 30s who allegedly robbed a security guard at knifepoint yesterday near the University of Hawai'i-Manoa campus.
In an alert issued to UH students, officials said the incident happened about 4 a.m. at the National Marine Fisheries Service building on Dole Street.
The suspect was described as 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, with a muscular build. He has a black crewcut and was wearing a black jacket, shorts and slippers.
Police ask anyone who has information on the case to call police at 911 or campus security at 956-6911.
