The Alu Like Inc. Native Hawaiian Library is offering "Search and Rescue — Beginning Family History" workshops from Oct. 23 to Nov. 13 at the Kulana 'Oiwi Multi-Cultural Center on Moloka'i.

The workshops, from 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursdays, will provide basic information on genealogical research, organizing family documents and recording genealogical information.

Follow-up training in genealogical research will be conducted in January.
