NFL: Seahawks activate Will Herring for Sunday

RENTON, Wash. — Special teams standout and linebacker Will Herring has been added to the Seattle Seahawks active roster for the first time this season.
The Seahawks also waived wide receiver Billy McMullen on Saturday.
Herring had been on the physically unable to perform list with a condition that was causing chronic muscle pulls.
McMullen broke his right pinkie in practice Thursday. He played in four games after being signed as a free agent last month and was second among Seattle's wide receivers with seven receptions. McMullen is the seventh Seahawks wide receiver injured this season.
The Seahawks play at Tampa Bay on Sunday.
