The popular television game show "Wheel of Fortune" taped 20 shows recently from the Hilton Waikoloa Village, and they'll begin airing in November.

The shows were shot Aug. 20 to Sept. 23 outdoors at sunset through the evening hours and feature contestants from the Big Island, Maui, Kaua'i, Lanai and O'ahu.

The first week of shows, called "Hawai'i's Big Island" will air Nov. 5-7 and Nov. 10-11.

The "Best Friends Week" show will air Nov. 12-14 and Nov. 17-18. A third show, theme is "Wheel Goes Waikoloa," will air Nov. 19-21 and Nov. 24-25.

A fourth show was filmed and will air in February.
