A suspect in the Oct. 2 armed robbery of the Ewa Mart has been turned over to federal authorities for prosecution.

Preston Pedro, 21, who listed no permanent local address during booking, was arrested Friday at the main police station at 5:40 p.m. on a federal warrant.

Ewa Mart, at 91-831 Ft. Weaver Road, was robbed at 9:55 p.m. by a gunman who fled on a moped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
