The state Department of Transportation is advising motorists on the Wai'anae Coast of an alternating lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions at the Makaha Bridge, starting today and continuing through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily, for bridge painting.

Motorists are being asked to use caution while driving through work areas and to allow for extra travel time.

Roadwork will be done weather-permitting.
