Get ready to "Fly Like an Eagle:" The Steve Miller Band will bring its classic rock and blues sounds to the Blaisdell Arena at 7:30 p.m. March 1.

The Miller Band has been road testing new music, recorded last spring at George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch, in a 37-city tour that began in the summer and continues till the end of the year.

Its last Island appearance was at the 2006 Diamond Head International Music Festival inside the landmark extinct volcano.

King Michel Concerts is collaborating with the Diamond Head International Festival and Conference, in presenting the concert, but the show is not part of the festival.

Miller also is known for such hits as "The Joker," "Rock'n Me," and "Jet Airliner."
