Hawaiian Airlines said today that it plans to add two Airbus A330-200 jets to its fleet in 2011.
The jets, which will be used for Hawaiian's trans-Pacific service, will be leased from aircraft lessor AWAS and will replace two leased Boeing 767-300ER jets.
The leased aircraft are in addition to the 24 Airbus wide-body jets that Hawaiian plans to purchase from Airbus. The first of the two jets is scheduled to be delivered by Airbus in 2012.
