Expect partly sunny skies across most of the state for today's Labor Day holiday with only the Big Island of Hawaii forecast for mostly cloudy weather.

The National Weather Service this morning predicts on Oahu mostly sunny weather with isolated showers. Highs are expected from 83 to 89. Winds are from the east 10 to 15 mph with a chance of rain at about 20 percent.

This evening, expect partly cloudy weather with isolated showers. Lows are expected 68 to 75. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph. Tomorrow's forecast is for more of the same — mostly sunny with isolated showers.

Forecasters say a surface high to the northeast will keep trade winds blowing throughout the week and focus most showers in Windward areas.
