The state is advising motorists that there will be alternating single-lane closures in both directions of Kamehameha Highway in the Mililani and Wheeler Army Airfield areas through the week for drainage work.

The affected area is between Waikalani Drive and Leilehua Golf Course Road and the closures will take place between 8:30 a.m. 3 p.m. today through Friday.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.
