Superferry offers discounted $49 one-way fare through Oct. 31

Hawaii Superferry today announced a discounted $49 fare for one-way passenger travel through Oct. 31.
The company also is is offering $39 one-way fares for seniors 62 and older, children ages 2 through 12, and retired and active military personnel and their dependents.
The discounted fares are available beginning Monday for voyages between O'ahu and Maui on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The fares also will be available for certain Friday and Sunday voyages.
In addition, passengers who purchase an adult fare 14 days prior to sailing will receive an advance purchase discount of $5. One-way passenger vehicle fares remain at $65.
The regular fuel surcharge doesn't apply to the special fares. Also, the fares do not include taxes and fees.
