Volleyball Rainbows defeat Minnesota in five games

Kanani Herring had 21 kills and No. 11 Hawai'i went on an 8-1 run in the fifth set to defeat No. 12 Minnesota in The Honolulu Advertiser Volleyball Challenge tonight at the Stan Sheriff Center.
The scores were 25-22, 21-25, 25-19, 23-25,15-7.
The Rainbow Wahine (2-2) also got 15 kills from Jamie Houston, 13 from Aneli Cubi-Otineru and 12 from Amber Kaufman.
UH plays Wyoming tomorrow night.
