'Ewa motorists are again being advised of construction work taking place along Fort Weaver Road this week through Friday.

Southbound, the left lane between Old Fort Weaver Road and Renton Road will be closed from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for electrical conduit installation.

Northbound, the left and right lanes will have alternating closures between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. for pavement striping.

The Department of Transportation's project to widen Fort Weaver from four lanes to six is expected to run through mid-2009.

Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time. Roadwork is weather-permitting.
