American Friends Service Committee to celebrate 40th anniversary with benefit

The American Friends Service Committee will celebrate 40 years in Hawai'i with a benefit banquet at 5 tonight at Kapi'olani Community College.
Hawai'i founding committee member Robert Aitken, Dr. Fred Dodge of Malama Makua and Hawaiian charter school advocates Noelani Goodyear-Ka'opua and Keola Nakanishi will be honorees.
Cost: $50.
The evening will feature food, music and a silent auction.
