Harold Perrineau — who previously played Michael on ABC's "Lost" — will play a hostage in a movie called "Killing Jar," which he also is executive-producing.

Celebrity News Service reports that Perrineau — who was captive on an island in the O'ahu-based hit TV show — will play a traveling salesman named John who is held hostage in the project now filming in North Carolina. Michael Madsen and Danny Trejo star.

Since departing "Lost," Perrineau has completed an ABC drama, "The Unusuals," which will be screened midseason.
