Mauna Lani will re-introduce its original 18-hole layout next month. The "Classic Course" is made up of nine holes on the South Course and nine on the North Course, which are the holes that opened at the resort in 1981. The Senior Skins Game came to Mauna Lani soon after, bringing Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and many of the game's greatest names to Hawai'i.

"This is a unique opportunity for golfers to create their own magical golf moments on many of the same holes that the Senior Skins Game was played on by the icons of the game," said Tom Sursely, Director of Golf Operations. "Now golfers can enjoy three distinct golf experiences at Mauna Lani and also experience both signature holes while playing on the Classic course."

The Classic course will be available for play on select days from Oct. 1 to Dec. 14, after which the North and South courses will be available for play through the winter.

TURTLE BAY JUNIORS

Turtle Bay's Junior Golf Program starts Saturday and will run through Oct. 25. It is open to all juniors between the ages of 6 and 17, and no experience is needed.

The sixth annual Turtle Bay Amateur will be played at the resort's Arnold Palmer and George Fazio courses Oct. 11 and 12. There are four flights, and it is open to anyone with a current GHIN Handicap.
