Hunting and Fishing Day will benefit foodbank
The 37th annual Hawai'i Hunting and Fishing Day this weekend will benefit the Hawai'i Foodbank.
The two-day event, organized by the state Department of Land and Natural Resources, will offer children and adults chances to learn about fishing and hunting safety with hands-on activities. Events will be held at the Koko Head shooting range from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Participants are encouraged to bring canned foods or donate money to the food bank at the event.
