Weather: Sunny and clear through Saturday

A weak high pressure area north of the state will keep gentle trade winds blowing and bring isolated windward showers through Saturday, the National Weather Service said.

Sea breezes will develop in the afternoons, sending cloud cover and isolated showers over the leeward and interior sections, forecasters said.

Expect increasing trade winds and scattered showers to return to the state by Sunday as a high pressure area strengthens north of the islands.

Here's how the weekend weather is shaping up:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 87. Southeast wind between 8 and 10 mph.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 72. East wind around 11 mph.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 87. East wind between 11 and 13 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 72. East wind between 9 and 11 mph.

Sunday: Scattered showers, mainly before noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 86. East wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Sunday Night: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 71. East wind between 9 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
