Traffic at the H-1/H-2 freeway merge, also known as the Wai'awa interchange, is beginning to ease at 7:15 a.m. following backup made worse than usual by several stalls in the region.

Traffic was starting to build, however, at the Middle Street merge heading toward town.

Motorists are advised to use caution on all roads due to slickness caused by early morning rain.
