ALBANY, N.Y. — Siena coach Fran McCaffery has reportedly signed a new eight-year contract.
ESPN.com is reporting McCaffery, who had two years remaining on his contract, confirmed the deal to them.
The terms have not been released. Siena athletic department spokesman Jason Rich wouldn't comment until a news conference scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
The Saints have won two Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference championships in a row. They lost to Louisville in the second round of this year's NCAA tournament after beating Ohio State.
