Concert promoters Dig Lifetsyles, Echelon Entertainment, Golden Ink Group

and Myspace.com announced today that neo-soul siren Erykah Badu is scheduled

to perform at 8 p.m. May 29 at the Waterfront at Aloha Tower.

Pre-sale tickets will be priced at $45. Tickets are not on sale yet, and a

sale date has not yet been announced.

Badu gained popularity in the late 1990s with her 1997 Grammy-winning debut

album "Baduizm," and her soulful R&B sound has been compared to jazz legend

Billie Holiday.

Badu released her latest album, "New Amerykah Part One (4th World War),"

last year.
