Royal Hawaiian gala raises $70,000 for Rehab Hospital
Advertiser Staff
The Royal Hawaiian presented a $70,000 check to the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific last week — money raised from the March 7 gala reopening of the historic pink hotel.
The donation will help support the hospital's charity care and neuro programs.
Gifts from the community allow the REHAB Foundation to enrich and enhance the rehabilitation experience for patients. Funding provides support for medical equipment purchases, scholarships, patient care programs and capital improvement projects to maximize each patient's recovery. Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific is the only acute care medical rehabilitation organization serving both Hawaii and the Pacific.
