Prudential Locations has launched a new online military relocation guide tailored to active-duty military moving to O'ahu.

The interactive guide at www.prudentiallocations.com/hawaii-military-relocation-guide.asp helps users to get to know their new surroundings as well as find a home.

"Prudential Locations is committed to providing members of the military with an easy-to-use online resource that will assist them with exploring O'ahu's real estate market," said Tracy Behler, executive vice president of client relationship development at Prudential Locations.

One feature of the site is a proximity search tool and map that helps home buyers find properties for sale located near a specific base. Users select an O'ahu military base and the search will identify homes within a defined mile radius.

Prudential Location's military relocation guide also features a Basic Allowance for House chart that shows users how much housing allowance by rank they might be spending on rent that could be invested in a home. It also offers detailed information on VA loans — the many advantages and eligibility criteria.
