UH wins second consecutive WAC men's tennis title

The University of Hawai'i men's tennis team successfully defended its Western Athletic Conference championship with a 4-2 victory today over top-seeded Boise State at UH Tennis Complex and earned a second consecutive NCAA tournament berth.
UH's Leo Rosenberg defeated James Meredith, 7-6 (7-3), 7-5, in No. 3 singles for the clincher.
The Rainbows, seeded third in the tournament, also got victories from Sascha Heinemann and Jeff Fitch and doubles wins from Rosenberg and Weber and Heinemann and Craig Faulk.
Hawai'i (10-9) is ranked No. 68 nationally, while Boise State is No. 20.
