MLB: Rag trade: Buy replica jersey, get 2 tickets

NEW YORK — Major League Baseball has a new rag trade promotion: Buy a replica jersey this season and receive two tickets.
Twenty-five of the 30 teams are participating in the promotion, baseball spokesman Jeff Heckelman said Wednesday. The five others — Boston, the Chicago Cubs, the New York Mets and Yankees and Toronto — are giving GameTime watches instead of tickets.
Game dates for the tickets are at each team's discretion and are available only while supplies last. Replica jerseys sell for $100 on MLB.com with a name and number or $80 without, although some ballpark prices vary.
Attendance through Tuesday averaged 29,252, down 10.1 percent from last season's final average.
