First Friday tonight features art at several venues

The monthly First Friday art event features events spread across downtown, starting at the Hawaii State Art Museum and moving through the Chinatown Arts District.
Tonight's line up includes:
Aerial Romance with Samadhi Aerial dancers flying from the trees, Jeff Peterson, Hawaii Drill Team, Anita Hall, Venus T, QuadPod and DeShannon Higa at the Hawaii State Art Museum from 6 to 9 p.m.
The new Hawaii Glass Artists exhibit opens at The Arts at Marks, with live glass blowing outside with a roaring Glory Hole on the street, Doolin Rakes playing Celtic dance music inside beer specials.
Artist Dalek will show an original piece at Soho Media Lounge on Pauahi and Fort streets, as well as sell t-shirts to benefit the Contemporary Museum.
Ong King Art Center entertainment from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., with a Kirtan Ceremony on the tabla from Ryan, Dakini Bellydance, rock from Breathe of Fire, trance from Quadraphonix, ukulele soloist Taimane Gardner, all hosted by the poetess Bridget Gray.
