CFB: Weis feeling better about standing during game

By TOM COYNE
AP Sports Writer

SOUTH BEND, Ind. Notre Dame coach Charlie Weis is feeling good about his health as well as his team.

Weis said Monday that three weeks ago he was worried about whether hed be ready to stand along the sideline for a full game after having his right knee replaced in December. His left knee was severely injured when a player collided with him during the Michigan game last September.
Weis says his right knee is feeling better daily, although he still doesnt have the stamina hed like. Weis plans to have his left knee replaced sometime next winter.
Weis said hes pleased with what hes seen from his team so far in practice.
