Police yesterday arrested a 38-year-old man as a suspect in the May 8 theft of a laptop computer from a Waikiki bank.
The laptop owner told police he was using his computer at an internet banking location, and left it on the table when he went to the rest room.
The laptop was gone when he returned, but security camera footage showed a man taking the computer and leaving the area, police said.
The suspect was identified after police officers watched the footage. He was located yesterday and arrested on suspicion of second-degree theft.
