A man who was found dead Aug. 6 at the city’s H-Power plant has been identified as Matthew Carothers, 31, of Mililani.

The city medical examiner has not released the cause or manner of Carothers’ death.
On Aug. 6, police received a call at about 7:30 p.m. that a body was on the grounds of the garbage-to-energy plant at Campbell Industrial Park. Police initially said there were no signs of foul play and classified the case as an unattended death.
