LAS VEGAS — The Ultimate Fighting Championship says Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida and Maruicio “Shogun” Rua will fight for the light heavyweight title in Los Angeles.

The UFC said the fighters would headline UFC 104 at Staples Center on Oct. 24.
The fight card also features undefeated heavyweight Cain Velasquez fighting Ben Rothwell.
UFC President Dana White says Machida turned heads by knocking out Rashad Evans, but Rua is confident after knocking out Chuck Liddell.
