Bill on road safety for Hawaii bicyclists advances
A bill that would make it illegal for motorists to come within three feet of a bicyclist got a first nod from the Honolulu City Council yesterday morning.
It will now go the council Transportation and Planning Committee in the coming weeks for discussion.
Bill 64-09 also would make illegal for a motorist to throw something at a bicyclist.
