An encore presentation of Blue Planet Foundation’s television special “Hawaii Home Energy Makeover” will air at 9 p.m. tomorrow on KGMB.

The one-hour special follows two families as their homes are transformed by
energy-saving technology.

From simple “cool roof” improvements to the installation of the latest in photovoltaic systems, the special explains how simple home improvements can result in substantial savings while reducing impact on the planet.

Short “webisodes” from the special demonstrating the energy efficiency changes will be available on Blue Planet’s Web site www.blueplanetfoundation.org after the presentation.
