The sixth annual Green Community Fair at the Church of the Crossroads, 1212 University Ave., is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The event will bring together local non-profits and businesses offering alternative gift-giving options — sustainable, local, and organic products.
Families are invited to make their own gifts and ornaments at a recycle art booths.
Education booths will help to inspire and guide you and your family towards living a more sustainable lifestyle.
Organizers want the fair to be a zero-waste event. So, visitors are encouraged to bring their own plates, bowls, and cups. Vendors will offer healthful foods, organic juices, and a kawa bar.
