Senior U.S. education official to speak at forum
Peter Cunningham, the U.S. Department of Education assistant secretary, will talk about national education trends, No Child Left Behind and other education issues at 2 p.m. today.
The Hawaii Parents, Teachers and Student Association, PTSA, and the Hawaii Medical Services Association are hosting the forum at the HMSA center multipurpose room., 818 Ke'eaumoku St.
The forum is designed to give parents, teachers and the community the opportunity to hear about the national education agenda and how it affects Hawai'i.
