Study says 1 in 6 online shoppers here search for coupons

A Web site that offers coupon codes for online stores says 16 percent of Internet shoppers from Hawaiçi search for coupons before making a purchase.
The study conducted using Web site traffic analysis and a survey of 7,500 people found that coupon use is increasing with November searches on Google rising 30 percent from a year earlier.
The Web site, Couponcodes4u.com, said roughly one out of every six online shoppers from Hawaiçi looked for coupon codes when buying from Internet stores. The codes are typically required by Web stores for people to get a promised discount.
