One of Hollywood's most enduring couples has split.

Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins, partners for 23 years and parents of two sons, separated over the summer, publicist Teal Cannady said in a statement yesterday. She did not elaborate.

Sarandon, 63, and Robbins, 51, met while shooting the 1988 film "Bull Durham." He played a hotshot pitcher, she was the passionate fan who seduced him and prepared him for the big leagues.

Sarandon and Robbins never married. They have been compared to other longtime Hollywood pairs who remain committed despite never officially tying the knot.

AEROSMITH FRONTMAN TYLER IN REHAB

Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler has entered a rehabilitation facility to treat an addiction to painkillers that his doctor says he has taken to deal with a decade of injuries.

In a statement issued Tuesday, the singer said he hopes to rejoin the band quickly, an effort to quell recent reports that the group's other members were considering hiring a replacement — should he decide to take an extended break from his duties fronting the long-running hard-rock outfit.

FOX BUSINESS ANCHOR GLICK LEAVING JOB

Fox Business Network's Alexis Glick, who was a big hire for the News Corp.-owned cable channel in 2006, announced yesterday that she was leaving her job as anchor of "Opening Bell" and vice president of news.

A Fox Business Network spokeswoman confirmed the exit, and the network said it had no plans for an immediate replacement.

MULLALLY RETURNS TO GREAT WHITE WAY

Her post-"Will & Grace" television career may not have gone as smoothly as planned, but Megan Mullally seems to be on a roll when it comes to the theater.

The Emmy-winning actress is set to return to Broadway in a production of "Lips Together, Teeth Apart" by Terrence McNally. Her most recent Broadway appearance was in Mel Brooks' musical "Young Frankenstein."

OPPOSITION TO 'JERSEY SHORE' INTENSIFIES

MTV is getting more pressure to cancel its "Jersey Shore" reality show.

The latest criticism comes from the New Jersey Italian American Legislative Caucus, which says the show promotes derogatory ethnic stereotypes and is "wildly offensive." State lawmakers have asked advertisers to boycott the show, which focuses on eight tanned 20-somethings and their escapades in Seaside Heights, a popular New Jersey beach town.
