Honolulu Fire Department rescue personnel airlifted six hikers who became lost after wandering off the Maunawili Falls Trail and ended up on the nearby Maunawili Demonstration Trail.

None of the hikers was injured.
Rescue personnel located the hikers and safely transported them off the trail by 9 p.m., according to HFD spokesperson Terry Seelig.
