Boxing: No charges for Tyson for punching photographer

LOS ANGELES — Prosecutors say they won't pursue charges against Mike Tyson or a photographer he allegedly punched at Los Angeles International Airport.
City attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan (Mah-tel-JIN') said Thursday that prosecutors found insufficient evidence to pursue charges.
Tyson and Tony Echeverria were arrested in November after the former heavyweight champion allegedly hit the photographer. Tyson's attorney said after the incident that Echeverria was overly aggressive and collided with the stroller of the boxer's infant daughter.
Tyson's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, says prosecutors made the right decision. She says the decision is "a small victory for those who continue to be harassed, annoyed and even stalked by the paparazzi."
Attempts to reach Echeverria Thursday were unsuccessful.
